The difference between Kaitek Flash Battery and other battery manufacturers

Choose lithium battery manufacturer
Which lithium battery manufacturer to choose?
When a new company asks us for help, they usually want to switch from a lead-acid battery to a lithium one, or they are already using one but are having problems with their supplier.
So first of all, we explain the difference between how Flash Battery works compared with most other battery manufacturers or suppliers.
Conventional manufacturers
How you work with conventional lithium battery manufacturers
After specifications are received from the company in question, the process of developing a classic battery is divided into three phases, each one dedicated to the three basic parts of the battery:
Lithium cells Control electronics Assembly
Generally speaking, lithium cells are purchased from an outside supplier, while the electronics are subcontracted to another company. In practice, what we initially described as a “conventional battery manufacturer” is often none other than a supplier, a mere assembler of parts, and this in itself is a problem.
In fact, in the event of any special requests (which is very common, given that every customer has their own specific needs) or malfunctions, you might have problems, because the company that supplied the battery does not have the in-house expertise to meet the customer’s specific requirements.
This results in:
1.Long waiting times for prototype development
2. Poor flexibility in product customization
3. High costs, because the software is not proprietary and any modification entails programming costs
4. Insufficient technical supportand slow solutions which lead to long periods of machine downtime
Conventional Manufacturers
Are mere lithium battery assemblers and this results in:
1. Long waiting times
2. Poor flexibility
3. High costs
4. Insufficient technical support
How Flash Battery works
Because our lithium battery is one-of-a-kind: how we work here at Flash Battery
Before we start to fill an order, here at Flash Battery, we take the time required to examine all the specifications together with our customer.
Only in this way can we offer the customer a customised lithium battery.
During these consultations, we focus on:
- The application in which the lithium battery must be used
- The power draw of the application so we can properly size the lithium battery capacity
- The size and weight of the battery, as well as our customer’s production processes (how many shifts, whether there is any downtime and so on)
- The type of battery status information the customer wishes to view in real time
- The type of charger required, depending on the charging times that have been determined
- The programming of the electronics of the lithium battery (using our Battery Balancing System)
And that’s just our preliminary examination.
Now – and only now – do we come up with the estimate. If we did not examine the questions described above, we would surely have problems when initialising the system.
After we have built and shipped the battery to our customer, the second phase of our work begins: the care, monitoring and maintenance of the Flash Battery lithium battery. All this is handled by our two tools:
- Remote battery control (Flash Battery Data Center)
- A system for automatically managing possible malfunctions (Automatic Alert System)
With these tools, unlike other lithium battery manufacturers, we can take action if a problem occurs, even before the customer can detect it.
On the other hand, Flash Battery
1. Examines all the specifications together with the customer
2. Creates the customised lithium battery
3. Provides care, monitoring and maintenance of the battery
