Electric vehicles with lithium batteries for sustainable mobility in Europe
On July 4, 2017, at its offices in Sant’Ilario D’Enza in Italy, Flash Battery hosted its international partners in the WEEVIL & ESPRIT projects, whose goal is to create highly innovative, lightweight electric vehicles.
Flash Battery is one of the principal players, as it is responsible for creating lithium-ion battery packs for these vehicles.
It was an opportunity to take stock of project development, introduce the company’s staff, and demonstrate the functionality and advantages of the lithium batteries specifically developed for these European projects.
The meeting continued with the afternoon seminar, “Transition to light electric vehicles: a chance to disrupt urban mobility?” in the Unindustria Reggio Emilia conference room.
Flash Battery Founder Marco Righi, began the meeting by illustrating the technologies that were developed and used to create the battery packs – the very heart of the WEEVIL and ESPRIT projects.
Also during the event, models were displayed that were built for the European projects.
Over 40 local and international firms participated in the event, thus showing the great interest in the change brought about by lithium-ion batteries in the world of electric transport. Flash Battery is the ideal technological partner towards new more sustainable business models.
The workshop showed that the land of motors is ready to be electrified.
