Flash Battery participates in the ECA 2030 conference within the EU Project NewControl

Virtual conference ECA 2030: intelligent mobility, collaboration and networking for the development of electric, connected and automated vehicles will be the main themes of discussion.

27-28 October 2020 are the dates for the online ECA 2030 Virtual Conference – Electric, Connected and Automated Mobility for the 2030 Customer: a networking event organised by the Mobility.E Lighthouse platform, focused on themes regarding the spread of intelligent mobility systems and the consequent implementation of electric, connected and automated driving (ECAD).

The conference aims to gather the various stakeholders along the value chain in the macro-area of “mobility,” involving not only the automotive sector but also non-technical parties, with the intent of sparking collaborations and synergies to help accelerate the processes of vehicle electrification, connection and automation, and promote concrete and joint R&D activities, aimed also at meeting the requirements for future European funding programmes.

Flash Battery will be actively involved in the event as an integral part of the consortium dedicated to the realization of the European Project NewControl.  The consortium has been invited to present the project, which is perfectly in line with the conference objectives.

In summary, NewControl is a European Project developed within the EU Framework Programme for Research and Innovation Horizon 2020, aimed at the development of advanced control systems in the field of enabling technologies for electric mobility (autonomous driving, PowerTrain, batteries, etc.) We at Flash Battery play an important role in the consortium: we are developing an innovative high-voltage battery pack, customising our proprietary Battery Management System and introducing evolved diagnostic algorithms that consider both system and environmental data and ensure complete efficiency of the electric battery.
