Hop on board of the Tesla Destination Tour
For those who are unfamiliar with the brand, Tesla is the most innovative and controversial marque of cars, launched by Elon Musk.
The features of the Model S sports sedan and the Model X SUV speak for themselves:
from 0 to 100 Kmh in just 2.7 seconds, a range of 594 Km for the 100D model, assisted driving with Autopilot, no operating instructions, and operative software that is updated just like a smartphone.
And what does a Flash Battery lithium battery have to do with all this?
The Tesla Destination Tour (TDT) is an event held by eV-Now! and Tesla Owner Italia. On board a “special” Model X, the Tour will transport and show the excellent technology behind the use of electricity instead of fossil fuel.
Electric power will be monitored constantly by a remote control system made by Flash Battery.
12 On the legs of the Tour, the excellent features of our country can be discovered, along with the most striking Destination Chargers, where the neatly outfitted Model X will tow the innovative “F-Trailer” street food trailer.
The kitchen is self-powered by a Flash Battery lithium battery and equipped with solar panels, which will enable the F-Trailer to store energy continuously and with constant monitoring.
The Flash Battery remote control will provide the TDT with information on battery condition, average discharge depth, average power consumption, operating time and a host of other information that will be shown on-board on an LCD display and remotely through the dedicated portal.
This will be the scenario in which the Resident Chefs of the Destination Charging will challenge themselves by coming up with kitchen exploits that save energy: the winner will be the tastiest dish measured in calories and KWh, as cooked in the Pot of Gold.
At the starting blocks:
Model X, Tesla’s zero-emission SU
Flash Battery, the 10.2 KWh lithium battery
F-Trailer, the food trailer created by VS Veicoli Special
Flexible Solar Panels by Solbian
Induction hot plates from Gaggenau
Cargo Bike, the e-bike from Bosch
Why is Flash Battery on board the Tesla Destination Tour?
We conceived and designed a special lithium battery that meets the needs of the project: a totally electric journey with the accent on sustainability.
This application will show you the ease and flexibility in use that you enjoy with a lithium battery, when it is integrated into a trailer or vehicle correctly.
The innovative world of Tesla and the TDT inspired us to design a Flash Battery lithium battery pack that is completely custom-made, with a power of 10.2 kWh and a built-in 3G system which controls remotely the data on the battery, and also sends actual power consumption figures to the TDT portal, and an on-board LCD for displaying real-time power consumption to the chefs.
There’s no risk of running out of energy during the TDT because Flash Battery handles double charging: it will be charged by solar panels during the cooking show and when the F-Trailer is moving, and through a normal 230V power outlet while the trailer is being stored.
Identifying features of the Flash Battery battery
- Power: 10,2kWh
- Voltage: 51,2V
- Capacity: 200Ah
- Size: 700x375xh330mm
- Built-in heating system
All we have to do now is to invite you to the upcoming legs of the Tesla Destination Tour, where you can touch and see with your own eyes what Flash Battery can do.
